It has been a crazy few weeks, but I had a wonderful time on 9/18 at the American Idol Concert Tour in Hampton. My grandaughter and I waited by the buses because I really wanted to get to meet Chris Sligh. The buses were behind a fence when I caught a glance of Chris Sligh outside the back of the bus. I don't know what came over me, but all of a sudden I was worse than a teen-age fan, yelling his name and waving my arms in the air to get his attention. My grandaughter is yelling, "Grandma!". She thought I had lost my mind. I think everyone there did. However, it worked! Chris Sligh said, "I'm right here!", and I thought I would pass out. Weird! I asked in my breathless way if he would sign my Half Past Forever CD and he was just the nicest person ever. Even though I appeared to be this really crazy lady, he signed my CD and was extremely polite, even shook my hand (which was shaking beyond belief). My only regret is that I didn't get a picture with him, but I was so thankful I actually got to meet the one person I was there to see, Chris Sligh. Needless to say the rest of the concert was wonderful and the memory has kept me smiling for days. Thanks, Chris.

So today is the first day of my "blogging life". This should be interesting, although with three jobs I doubt I will have much time, but we'll see. I really started this because I am a HUGE, HUGE, CHRIS SLIGH FAN. I have been reading his blogs and watching his "career" since he began his American Idol tour and just think he is exceptionally talented and seems so sincere a person.
As for my life, well, it has been an interesting one to say the least. But, more about that later.
Hope everyone is having a great Holiday weekend.
Will talk more later.
